Built for split pots

The pot is split the right wayHalf goes to the best high hand and half to the best low. Ties share their half, so quartered pots are counted exactly. With no low, the high hand takes it all.

Does it solve 6 card Hi-Lo?

Yes. Preflop and postflop, heads-up and multiway.

How is the pot split between high and low?

Half to the best high hand, half to the best low hand. Players who tie share their half. If nobody has a low, the best high hand wins the whole pot.

How much RAM do I need?

It depends on where the solve starts. A full solve from preflop, 100bb deep: heads-up PLO8 needs about 2 GB, and 6-max 6 Card Hi-Lo about 430 GB. A solve that starts on the flop needs far less. Hi-Lo needs about the same as the same game without Hi-Lo.

Can I solve with less RAM?

Yes, up to four times less. While it solves, the solver also collects data that is only there for you to read the result: the average frequency of every action, and the EV and equity of every hand. You can turn this off in the Accumulate box on the Tree step. The solve runs the same way. The table then shows the frequencies of the last iteration, with no EV, equity or Leak. For example, 6-max 6 Card Hi-Lo then needs about 105 GB instead of 430 GB.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. Every account can solve all games for free, with any players, stacks, ranges and tree. The flop is always the same: Qh8d6h.

Does it run on Windows?

Yes, through WSL2, the Linux system built into Windows. You can also rent a Linux server and work from the browser on any device.
